Vacation Rental Platform (VRP) Features

The Vacation Rental Platform provides clients the opportunity to have a custom designed website that represents their business and also provides web access to manage all of their rental units.  We require the GuestStream CMS to be installed before you can add the Vacation Rental Platform module to your website.

Property Search – Ability to search all properties in inventory. Search by the following criteria:

  • Location
  • Maximum Capacity
  • Number of Bedrooms
  • Minimum/Maximum Price
  • Parking
  • Amenities
  • Kitchen (i.e. Microwave, Dishwasher)
  • Activities (i.e. Fishing, Golf, Shopping)
  • Room Types (i.e. Den, Game Room, Master Suite)
  • Beds (i.e. King, Queen)
  • Outdoor (i.e. BBQ, Private Deck, Oceanfront)
  • Entertainment (i.e. DVD Player, Ping Pong Table)
  • Miscellaneous (i.e. Washer/Dryer, Maid Service, Broadband)
  • Custom Amenities (i.e. Two kayaks with life jackets and paddles are provided)

  • Photo Slideshow – Interactive property photo slideshow using photos uploaded by property owner or management company
  • Google Maps – Interactive Google Maps are provided on every property listing. Maps can be made to show all properties in inventory.
  • Contact Form – Allow website visitors to contact property owners directly from their property listings without exposing the property owner’s email address.
  • Multiple Properties – Property owners can manage one or more properties. Add an unlimited number or properties to your account.
  • Rate Periods – Set separate nightly, weekly, monthly and annual rates for unlimited number of rate periods (i.e. Fall, Winter, Christmas / New Years Holiday, Spring, Memorial Weekend, Summer, Labor Day Weekend)
  • Upload Photos – Property Photo Upload (ten photos, 4MB size limit). Thumbnail (small) images are automatically created when larger images are uploaded. The large photos are displayed in the slideshow while thumbnail images are displayed on the property overview page and search resullts.
  • Guest Testimonials Form – Allow renters to provide feedback following their stay
  • Sitemap – Automatically generated index of all properties for search engine optimization
  • Added Server Space – 250 MB of extra web server storage in addition to the base server space included with Content Management System. 250 MB is suitable for approximately 300 individual properties. Additional storage space for photos, video, audio or other media can be added if necessary. This provides adequate storage space for approximately 3,000 properly sized detailed photos and their respective thumbnails.
  • Technical Support – Knowledgeable and Friendly Technical Support via phone or email.

    NOTE:  Customers using the VRP and VRP/ISILink systems are required to host the VRP system with GuestStream.  Hosting fees are included in all GuestStream Internet Marketing Services Plans.  Customers using the VRP system but do not have an Internet Marketing Services Plan will be billed hosting fees of $100 per 1000 units per month.  For example, a VRP system with 800 units in the system would be billed $100 per month.  A VRP system with 1500 (<2000) units would cost $200/month etc….
